COVID-19 Vaccine Changes

Updated: Jan 21, 2022

* Children age 12 years-17 can now get a booster(3rd dose) of Pfizer vaccine

* Pfizer and Moderna Boosters are now allowed 5 months after completion of 2nd primary dose

*If you have received the Johnson and Johnson(Janssen) vaccine, a 2nd dose(booster) is recommended at least 2 months after receiving the primary dose; however, the CDC now recommends Pfizer or Moderna vaccine as booster dose due to stronger response against the Omicron variant. There are circumstances where Johnson and Johnson vaccine is still recommended. Call us for any questions at 865-577-5533.
